Behold, the Adventure map!
The Adventure Overworld map is where you can access our islands (or "regions"), each of which corresponds to a certain level of Japanese, spanning from pre-beginner to advanced!
None of our content is gated, so you can feel free to start your adventure in whichever region best suits your level.
The islands/regions themselves
As I mentioned, each island corresponds to a different level of Japanese. They all build on each other, and our Adventure track is designed to give you all you need to go from total beginner to master!
(On MaruMori, we generally follow the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N-levels, with N5 being beginner, and N1 being advanced.)
If you're completely new to Japanese, we recommend you start at the Isle of New Beginnings. If you already know some Japanese, feel free to jump ahead to any of the other islands!
